![]() It is however consistent in not showing an attachment Is there a configuration option I am missing? If it was endemic to the Outlook Client or AntiVirus, I would expect this behavior inside the Outlook client but not the web portal. I have not been able to find a way to access the original message or attachments without running a discovery search. It seems like the original message is somehow getting orphaned somewhere, as Both the Server and Client are completely patched and up to date. I also ensured that messages were being formatted as HTML rather than Plain Text. The message has text and embedded images, but not attachments For some reason, the original e-mail of the external user sending the attachment is nowhere to be found. I have selected to show the inbox as 'Messages' over 'Conversations'. I can run a Discovery Search and recover the original e-mails and attachments. The user can see other attachments but not ones from conversation chains that had been forwarded. ![]() I am seeing this both in the web portal (Outlook Web App) and the full Outlook client. When a user receives an e-mail with an attachment and then the user Forward's the message, the attachment is no longer visible in the conversation. We are using Exchange 2016 on premises with Outlook 2016 on Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10.
